About

We are the Swift Current Branch of the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society, a local branch of The Saskatchewan Genealogical Society. The SGS is a provincial heritage organization dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and developing the study and research of genealogy.

Programs

We are currently running an educational program, aimed at getting people involved with genealogy and to teach them how to go about researching their own family history. Each monthly meeting until March 2023, will have a presentation/ educational part before the business portion.

Meetings

We meet at 7:00pm every fourth Monday except for the months of June, July, August and December. Meetings are held at our Branch headquarters above Office Outfitters. Located in downtown Swift Current.
